First time actually playing one of these games all the way through. My only real exposure to them prior was their minigame in Metal Gear Solid 3. But gotta make use of that PS+++ somehow so why not play some PS1 games for trophies.

I think the game is a bit slow to start, but as you get the various upgrades not only to move around quicker, but also capture monkeys easier it becomes more fun to play. Was there fog in the original though or was it like how it is on these PS4 versions where you can only see basically one screen's worth in front of you before everything just pops in. That was kinda disorienting at first, but you get used to it.

Platinum is pretty simple you just need to beat the game once and capture 100 monkeys and get 40 of the Specter Coins along the way to unlock all the minigames. I still plan to go back and capture all the monkeys to see the true final boss though so not done with this game quite yet!
