I mean, I guess I can agree with an argument that for some people, it's cheaper to just eat out for meals. Mainly for people who absolutely can't stand eating leftovers and "simple" meals.

Because if you can't eat simple leftovers, much of the cost savings of cooking goes away.

I think it might be easier if you're just eating for yourself too... Like going out to eat or grabbing something for myself is pretty cheap but for my roommates who are married, it's a lot more expensive for both of them (even worse if they get something delivered)... So they get groceries to make meals... Also they're both good at cooking where I can't cook something unless it has microwave or air fryer instructions on it...
