Agreed. This happens with the same people every sale, and I tag people every sale. 60% of the people active in these topics have given nothing this time. Some of these people do this every sale. If you really can't scrounge up $5 to contribute, over the course of several years, I don't know what to say. (You as a collective you, not picking on ProboBum)

i get where you are coming from, but some people just aren't in a very good financial situation and literally can't afford to contribute anything. heck, me and my folks didn't even exchange any gifts this year for Christmas. we've been going to three different food banks just to stay afloat. we had a nice Christmas dinner at least, but it was only possible thanks to the $100 in Vons gift cards we received from the food banks. and we owe almost 1000 bucks to my brother for having to borrow money from him just in order to make rent a couple times. i really wish i could gift people something, but i just can't. but to be fair, that's why i only posted my wishlist twice total throughout all the topics, and only was asking for one game really, though i was generously gifted a few more, all of which iirc were 5 bucks or less. the spirit of Christmas is supposed to be about helping out the less fortunate. i don't think the people who are not gifting anything are selfish or stingy or whatever. just struggling. i could be wrong though.
