Here's how it works:

  1. Post your Steam wishlist, and maybe someone will buy you a game! Make sure your wishlist is set to "public".
  2. If someone gifts you a game, post in this topic stating "[GameFAQs username] has gifted me [Name of game]". If we all do the same format, it will make record keeping easier.
  3. Gifts will be recorded on the Google Doc listed above.
  4. I would prefer we not mess with Humble Codes, as it mucks up the list, and we've done five games = 1 entry in the past, which is sometimes hard to keep track of. I'm sure someone will complain and we'll let this happen again.
  5. The giveaway will end Jan 3rd at 1PM PST. Shortly after prizes will be awarded as determined below.
  6. You can only post your wishlist up to 3 times per topic. Wishlists in your sig are fine and don't count towards the 3.
  7. If you're not in the USA, region codes/locking may prevent you from gifting users in certain countries, and vice versa. That's just a limitation of Steam.

Final prizes pledged as follows:

bluezero: I'll start it off by offering a $50 prize to be awarded to the highest giver of gifts.
synklare: I'm going to double up also, and add another 10 to the prize pool at the end. x2 10 gifts
dummy420: I can chip in a $20 card in the end
blistr: I'll contribute a $20US (or equivalent as I'm not from the US) gift card towards the prize pool
EvilResident: I will give a $5 game to one of the winners at the end
ShotgunSilencer: I'll contribute $10 to the final prizes drawing thing again
Nintendo_Porn: I'm willing to pledge $10 steam gift card to a random gift giver in the end drawing. Just...roll again if it hits me. Lol
AlCalavicci: Im going to do a $20 prize and two $10 prizes, all to random users, near the end of this thing (game of choice for up to that dollar value)
discodancer77: I can gift 2 $10 (CDN) Steam gift cards at the end to randomly selected winners, after the new year.

So far we have a top prize of $50 going to the highest giver of gifts. Next we have 2x $20 gift cards and 1 game up to the value of $20, followed by 2x 10 gift cards, 2x $10 gift cards and 2x games up to the value of $10 each, 2x $10 CAD gift cards and last but not least a game up to the value of $5. That's a total of 13 prizes so far. All values are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Winners will be put in contact with the relative prize givers in order to claim their prize. In order to spread the joy around a little more no one shall be eligible to win more than 2 prizes in total. Nintendo_Porn and synklare have requested to perform their own drawing at the close of the event. All winners shall be determined using an online RNG against the Google doc listed above.

Remember you must be friends on Steam with whomever is giving you a prize for a period of three or more days in order to be able to receive a gift card from them. This is a limitation of Steam and as such we have no control over this. If you are not on their Steam friends list you may not be able to receive a gift card and may have to take your prize in the form of a game(s) instead. Of course the advantage of a gift card is you can put it towards anything you like, even a game that costs more than the card is worth. With a game choice only you may be limited in what you can choose from.
