what's the job, if you don't mind sharing

basically its handling a judges criminal caseload, scheduling everything, making sure it runs smoothly, communicating with jails, etc.. so at any point you are responsible for managing 400-600 cases and all the attorneys with their adjournments requests and defendants whereabouts and getting them heard in court and whatnots

you'd think I'd be a shoe in because we use zoom a lot since the pandemic and i have singlehandedly prevented some disasters from occurring with my tech skills lol but i am only this worried BECAUSE i know this place tends to not choose the best candidate. Giving such a stressful job to a retirement age person who does not know how to even operate zoom in the digital age seems like a great waste of time.

Honestly i gave up after a while. The problem is the director is always changing and what happens is i get passed up because i look young despite being 40. And then they bring in an older person who most times has no idea what theyre doing. I eventually left for a better opportunity and ran into a colleague from the former place and they said if they had known i wasnt 20 they would have given it me. I guess im good enough to train the manager but not be the manager. -_-

Also common sense would say if i mention during the interview ive been doing this job for 10 years theres no way i started when i was 10. -_-

Anyways, im content with where im at. Management wasnt in the works for me. I should actuallly be grateful. No stress, no meetings, no politics.

I don't wanna give up just yet... i'm 27 and will be 28 in 2023, i'm getting a little too old to have every job be a fresh start, but young enough that I can still rebuild, and definitely young enough that i can decide if staying somewhere is worth my time
