Its easy for a place to get messy when you have roommates because no one wants to be the one doing all the cleaning so you wait it out. Everyone does the same thing until the place turns into a dump, one guy breaks and ends up cleaning it all. Im pretty sure the friendship with the one who cleans it is majorly weakened.
