I agree with bsp77's assessment. It's not really "bad" but it's a whole lot of "meh." The story definitely needed more than 4 episodes and feels very rushed, especially the relationship aspects. With more time to actually flesh out the characters it wouldn't feel so generic, which is it's biggest critique.

I was wondering while watching how the elves became second class citizens in the Witcher since they were running things in this. I don't mind their society mirroring humans since racism doesn't have to make sense. People just hate those that are different than them, even if the only difference is pointy ears.
