Seriously, all my holiday travels (Thanksgiving, Christmas) are like a 30 minute drive at most. Having to fly somewhere during this season seems like a massive stressful pain that takes all the fun out of it. Its only bad in certain cases CARRRNE_ASADA posted... That could actually kill them and the employees. Of course if thats the case there should be refunds or some accommodation. Is it the weather? Which parts of the country are having suck shitty weather? Also, I know the little airport in the city I currently live in does pay for stuff. They actually get the bus company I use to work at to take them to specific hotels. And pay for the night there. While Southwest probably should do that, they probably dont have the money to. Nor do they probably work with any hotels in the area. My city is somewhat small, so it works well with the rest of the city.
