Topic	Would you rather have a guaranteed $2, or a 1/50,000 chance at $30k?

But if this was a one shot and you were offering to hand me $2 in cash or the 2nd option, I'd probably take the 2nd just because I wouldn't care about the guaranteed money. I'd probably end up with nothing, but I'd be no worse off than I would have been if I hadn't encountered this situation. I honestly don't understand why anyone would take the $2.
