Well the story this movie is inspired by also rebooted everything . The original Flashpoint in 2011 in the DC comics, ended in a total reboot of the entire DC Universe. And later they made an animated adaptation of Flashpoint. Which I think also began a new continuity of animated DC films

This would be the 3rd Flashpoint, and it probably will cause another reboot

Seems like the reboot that this Flash movie would lead into had Michael Keaton back in future movies and a bunch of other shit that they've already canned. The irl reboot and the narrative reboot in the Flash will most likely go two completely separate ways. So in a way, yeah it's a reboot movie but one that isn't leading anywhere narratively for the future of the franchise.
