My aunt married into wealth. They grew to hate each other, but he provided a life she never dreamed she could have. He eventually divorced her. She had become incapable of taking care of herself. One time she held up a $20 and asked if it was enough to get a gallon of milk. They've been divorced for like 25 years and she's still not totally grounded yet. She still seems to think that having 100k is barely having anything.
