MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. A woman who was involved in a violent outburst caught on camera at Miami International Airport, faced a bond court judge on Wednesday. Camila McMillie was at an American Airlines counter after missing her connecting flight to New York City on Tuesday when she said her two children had vanished at Miami International Airport, according to police.
McMillie, 25, of Birmingham, Alabama, asked American Airlines employees for help with finding her kids, and she became irate and then turned violent, according to the police report. Surveillance video shows she took the boarding pass reader off the wooden counter, grabbed a computer monitor from the counter, and threw it at one of the airlines agents, according to police.
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer detained McMillie at about 11:30 a.m., at the airports North Terminals Concourse D and police officers arrested her and took her to jail.
It turns out, McMillies two children, ages six and eight, had gone to the restroom without telling her, according to the arrest report.
