Which is part of why he's both so controversial and yet so necessary

Nobody polices basic human decency. Like double parking. Or returning your cart. Or walking slowly in one long horizontal line with three of your friends so nobody can pass without going onto the street. Or leaning to the right if you aren't walking up an escalator so people in a rush can walk past you. Nobody polices that stuff because they aren't illegal actions (though double parking might technically be, but I've sure as shit never seen anyone get a ticket for it). Which is why cart narc thrives in that gray area. You won't get in trouble for not being a decent human being, but you should be a decent human being.

If it were me, I'd become the sidewalk narc. Nothing pisses me off more than people walking four wide at a snail's pace, taking up the whole sidewalk, and fucking over people walking both directions.
