Topic	How do you truthfully respond to "how much can you lift"?

If not, you kind of talk around it by saying your best ever or that you don't ever max out because you never try and just give your working weight which is fine. Figuring out your max is generally just for bragging rights/curiosity unless you're like a power lifter anyway. --- I don't believe in belts.
