| David1988 12/15/22 11:51:53 PM #39: | Is it possible our conception of gender is shaped by how the outside world perceives us instead of being something thats internally formed? I think if society always treated and perceived me as the opposite gender of what I am now since my birth then I would've been ok with seeing myself as that gender as well. I feel like character traits like being courageous or honest are more internally formed and deeper part of one's identity than gender is which seems to be more externally derived except in minority of cases --- "Let's be honest...I'm everybody's type.
