Practicing talking to girls. It helps you become less shy. You can't talk to women the same way as men though. You have to know her well on what to talk about. It also helps build trust with other women, notably ones you might be interested in and don't have as close of a connection.

You could try to make a move and risk the friendship.. Definitely don't do it if she's in a relationship already.

You don't want to be thought of as a fuckboy or womanizer either. Word spreads fast between friends if you try to ask several women out who are friends with each other. Women talk.

Especially be careful at work.
