I really wasn't in a financial position to buy until it was too late. We could barely make it into a townhome with help from our parents but that's really not the path I want to take at this point in my life. Maybe I would've done it years ago had I known the market was going to go wild. We're trying to move by spring and buy a home somewhere cheaper. I work from home so I can live anywhere but my wife's an attorney so she'd have to take another bar exam.
