There are prominent physicists who believe in the existence of multiple universes, and apparently the math checks out. "It seems weird to me so it can't be true" is not really a great way to figure out how anything works or why. It would be exciting to know if multiple universes exist, and if they do, how many exist and how often new branches of reality are created. --- Cuteness is justice!
