In the best light, that kid is responsible for several people's deaths for trying to play police when he went to a protest alone and heavily armed to try to "keep the peace".

Now he's just grifting and bragging about the fact that he shot several people that did not need to die. The right loves him because he's like Harry Potter, the one who shot up a bunch of lefties and got away with it, something I'm sure they all fantasize about.
