9/10 - I love the approach they took with the worldbuilding, which I've heard best described as "GRRM built this world and From Software shattered it." This feels like a legitimately rich mythos in a way that Dark Souls was only able to scratch at. The massive world is held up by the story as memorable characters intersect with you at all points, and there's a real "wow" factor when you reach an important place or face an important boss. It's a suitably grandly woven fabric for the bonkers scale of game they made here.

This has been a super fun topic series. Story isn't something I usually prioritize when rating games in most genres so it's been a really cool exercise to put this in a vacuum and really think about what works and what doesn't.
