What state were you in? I mean, an employer can blame Obamacare, and it might have some fault - for sure. I'm not American, but didn't Obamacare still get some state tweaks or did it interact with the laws of different states in different ways?

It basically boiled down to as a part time employee they didn't have to offer me benefits or whatever.

Actually saw the head manager make a shift manager clock out before midnight and clock back in after midnight so on paper it looked like he started a new day so his hours wouldn't go over that magic number that would be deemed full time hours.

And that's my issue they didnt account for how corporations would find ways around it.

They really need to start aiming more laws at how corporations can do things.
