Having grown up in Korea, I actually grew up on this guy too, though his face wasn't memorable to me until much later. Because they were opposed to airing Japanese live action series (they deemed animes as perfectly ok, and Galaxy Express 999 and the other classics like that are celebrated there too), they actually aired a Korean dub'd version of the American versions, so we knew them as Power Rangers too instead of Super Sentai. I wouldn't be surprised if Korean folks around my age would also know him and mourn his death

So yeah big RIP... He was a pretty swell guy in general.

He was also great in Dino Thunder, which ended up being one of my favorite series. I had very few channels and Fox always aired this at the perfect time.
