Is it better than Voyager, I couldn't get into Voyager I'm towards the end of season 2 and it's got a very different vibe than any of the previous shows. Think it really captures the feeling that this is humanity's first steps into a galactic landscape and they've got to figure shit out for the first time. The politics in play also feel a bit more "grounded" and direct, with less obfuscation by metaphor, but that may be because this came out in a post-9/11 world and I'm more aware of what the politics of that era were like. Not a bad thing, just a different feel.
