Guys I'm so happy with myself for finally taking this step. I can be "one of the guys" without being a guy, and it's taken me this fucking long to realize that my gender dysphoria was because I was forcing myself to be a guy when I wasn't. I was never happy with how I looked, how I had to bind myself, how I was jealous of other guys.

Then yesterday I got a female haircut, saw myself in the mirror, and it was literally an immediate realization that this is who I am. I can still be my snarky-ass male-ish personality without having to be a guy.

Nice. I'm happy you're figuring stuff out for yourself. And I'm sure your wife will be happy too given you've talked about how often she liked to put you in girly outfits lol.
