Well no, it's split between him and DeSantis, and some of their base are presently in the mindset the elections are rigged and thus voting is useless. All the Dems have to do at this point is not shit the bed; and there might be a history of stained sheets.

An economic downturn near the election can ruin anyone's chances of winning. I don't know if any incumbent party ever won a national election in an economic downturn. It may've happened once, but it pretty much is a unicorn. A lot of elections come down to the luck of the economic draw aka, "it's the economy stupid."
