I think it's entirely possible that there are entities outside our perception in higher dimensions but I don't think there's any grand afterlife plan. I don't necessarily think our existence ends at death though either. Maybe we just melt back into some kind of superconsciousness when we die. Or maybe we don't. Who knows?

I think everything in the universe is connected though. We only perceive ourselves to be separate from the rest of the matter and energy in the universe. I think that's how you explain things like quantum entanglement. It's because we're not actually separate
