That was all on him, not WB. Hell the dude was so out of touch with the casual audiances he didn't realize that all most fans care about BvS........was batman vs superman. Rather then the philosophical BS he kept bringing up. And Idk if any else noticed but the marketing took a huge shift in that regard near the end when they realized.
