How much of it is steel? Cause if it isn't thick enough, there'd be some dinosaurs that could bite or crush it.

Depends on what version but stealth rock can essentially kill infinity dinosaurs. They have no way to get rid of it and it has indefinite duration. The dinosaurs just die as soon as they run in.

That is not how stealth rock works. They'd have to run into the stealth rocks multiple times to die. The only thing that instantly dies to them is Shedinja.
