Dallas was the only team who even bothered trying to negotiate it, but Houston wouldn't budge. The deal apparently was never even close. It sounds like Houston got greedy and just assumed some team would be desperate enough to swoop in and pay it at the deadline, but no one ever so much as humored actually doing it. I see the Texans are still well run! --- So a planet's somewhere out there, their history the same as ours is written. The only difference is that...
