But really, until you've memorized this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_mahjong_yaku Don't make any chi/pon/kan calls until you're sure you know you're doing. Calling dragons is almost always safe, and calling winds if you know which ones you're calling is fine, but beyond that, don't open your hand unless you're sure you know what the end result will be.
