I still don't get how there are still some people (who aren't just secret Republicans) that can't see how bad it can get and think that people are overreacting. You have to be either privileged, live under a rock, or both. Republicans aren't even trying to hide their bullshit anymore. Even if Democrats suck, and they do, they're still better than the openly fascist Republicans.

And yeah, Democrats being weak are a large cause of it. They're too worried about the government institutions themselves and have been playing with one arm tied behind their backs for decades now while Republicans have been openly lying, cheating, and being divisive. The Republican party should have ceased to exist after 1/6.
