They legitimately do hit differently, but if your tolerance is high you should be fine. Obviously, don't pop like a handful or anything dumb.

During my busy season at work I was drinking like 3 C4s a day and a couple diet cokes. I too was also spending a fortune for no reason. Then I switched to pills. It's much cheaper. Didn't have an issue. I'd do one in the morning and one after lunch. Id chase them with a diet coke to kind of normalize the rush.

Also as mentioned, taking them on an empty stomach can make you feel queezy. If your tolerance is up then it's not really an issue though. I'd kind of just take half a pill at a time or something until you can properly gage your body's reaction.

Another option is pre-workout powder. It's still more expensive than the pills, but much cheaper than a full drink. Like 60 servings cost around $20 and you can dial in how many scoops you want in your drink
