Yep. Oh, and a lot of this could have been avoided if from the beginning people didn't allow fascists and bigots to voice their opinion. "Oh, but it's free speech" and "well he's just saying it and isn't actually doing anything" allowed evil to grow and recruit more people. By treating those views as though they're valid, they let it operate right in the open and that's what allowed bigots to line up behind Trump and even try to overthrow the government doing his bidding.
