Cause there's 1 normal qualified manager and a bunch of power tripping morons, yes men lickspittles and at least 1 of your average sociopath in the work place.

This could be combined with my theory that states that employees can only be functional at their jobs only so far up the company ladder and past that point they're a burden to their coworkers and those under them. The average worker can do their job but we all know plenty who are there for a paycheck and will gladly drag their team members down even for the most basic entry level job. But what's really damning is that we all have had district level bosses who couldn't even do our job yet they're 2 or 3 ranks above us in the pyramid. Yet sometimes those district bosses were actually proficient at head of office level positions?

I summarize it as "the most qualified tend to be over qualified and never rise while the under qualified rise up at least one level above whatever position they'd most effectively perform at."
