Topic	Which video game series have the most convoluted plots?

SMT/Persona are more like Final Fantasy, where each game takes place in a different world, or at least a different area of the same world, so there's no real overarching plotline. I think earlier LoH games are different worlds from Trails, too. I guess the spinoffs with Persona are a little more complicated, with stuff like how Persona 5 Royal's additions are questionably canon to Persona 5 Strikers.
