If you take into account digital sales and overall popularity during this digital era, then yes, he's EASILY the biggest musician in the planet. However, his legacy will be very diminished in the long run, case in point, the fact that nobody ever talks about his music from 4-5 years ago, except for maybe "Te Bot (Remix)" which has been his biggest hit, and one of the most popular Reggaeton songs of all time.
