I was annoyed when I got the ending spoiled. Sure, it makes logical sense but Arthur could have just as easily been written away to Guarma to explain his absence in 1. Idk, it just didn't feel like his impending death was obvious from the word Go since there were a fair amount of reasons other than death for Arthur to be absent from RDR1 --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
