Okay? Just because a bunch of people doesn't like something doesn't mean others can't be allowed to like it, and vice-versa.
Hell, in my opinion -- of the ones I've seen -- none of these Halloween movies are good outside of the first one.

I would never believe a celebrity if theyre hyping anything up. I watched a popular influencer on YouTube last night brag about how he got to attend the red carpet screening for the movie and praised it in his review. This channel is obsessed with Halloween so its very obvious you cant trust anyone in that position.

Sound more like you can't trust the opinions of any influencer/celebrities only if their opinion doesn't align with yours. Just disagree with them and move on. I don't doubt that there are people who are saying good things to be on someone's good said (and that can be said about any thing, really) but to insinuate that anyone with a platform giving the film a positive review is doing it purely for "political gain" is conspiracy theorists levels of whacky at best.
