I hated how Fallout 3 shamed me for sending my super mutant friend in to fix the thing since the radiation wouldn't have any effect on him whatsoever, rather than throw my own life away for no other reason than empty pride.

Yeah, it really, really bothered me that the writers couldn't help but jam in a dig at the player even after Broken Steel's retcon. Maybe one day if I've got enough cash to throw around, I'll pay Ron Perlman for a couple voices lines to mod in: "But when the time came to choose, the Lone Wanderer actually decided to use his / her brain, and sent into the chamber a companion who would suffer no ill effects of this poorly-contrived moral dilemma."
