I listened to the clip and all it did was make me respect Biden even more. You can hear the pain and love in his voice as he worries for his son's well-being. I was confused at first why someone would even view this as an opportunistic attack piece, but conservatives just think differently I guess. They hear a Father care for his son and think him weak.
