I often think about the criticism people have with characters revolving around them being "unlikable" or something along those lines. I think about that a lot.
I know I've been guilty of it. There are characters I didn't like in some movies because I thought what the the writer/director was going for wasn't exactly executed well. But there are also characters that I do like that are bad people in the film that they're in and they're fun to watch because of it.

That was a weird tangent to go to basically set up why I made the topic. But yeah. Back on topic. My go to example off the top of my head is Robert Pattinson in Good Time. I like to use him as an example in how I distinguish between a character who is a bad person, and a character who is "unlikable".
