Its an updated shot that contains vaccines against both the original strain and the currently dominant strain (BA.5), so it should provide better protection than previous boosters. It became available about a month ago for anyone who has completed the initial shots and is at least two months out from their most recent shot or booster (bizarrely, unvaxxed people are still required to go with the old vaccine).

I kinda feel like at that point it would be less cruel just to straight up tell the kid that he didnt want a relationship with him rather than stringing him along.
