Yeah, seriously. It's something I never got into in my 20s (various reasons, very poor health due to a chronic condition being one of them) but I do have an interest in trying it out now (I'm 32) and it does seem super hard. The work route was almost a thing for me, someone told me a coworker had a crush on me, and I thought she was cute too so I pursued it for a while. She did seem interested for a bit, but it didn't end up turning into anything however and I can't keep pushing it and become the creepy dude at work. I actually get a decent amount of matches on dating apps but the conversations die super quick. Only two seemed like they could turn into actual dates, but I wasn't super interested and didn't want to lead them on.

Honestly though, how much does this even matter? I feel as long as you're a decent, nice and mature person you can successfully date someone despite "experience level". You don't have to tell them your whole life story. I think the most important thing would be to just not get too ahead of yourself and invested in something before it really gets very far.

Eh. Im just weird tbh. I have way too much to learn and I really just cant imagine that anyone would have the patience for me lol.

Its not so bad though. Been living this way essentially for my whole life so its not like a culture shock for me or anything.
