I loved everything about that game's ending except for the goofy QTE stadium scene, but even that was fine because the rest of the ending was so strong.
Kind of surprised to see it being mentioned here.
The entire last leg of AI2 is just fucking atrocious.
It's already been well-established that the twist sucks and the game lies to you about it, but the branch endings are also contrived as fuck and also suck, and then the things that are revealed to make the twist work also suck, and then the stadium QTEfest drags on for half an hour despite being some of the most atrociously boring garbage in the whole game, then the grand finale acts as if the ending was earned in any way whatsoever.
