Yes, I think this is usually how it works. Works that way in MD. Certified growers provide the dispensory with their product, labeled and tested. It's all very commercial feeling.

Everything has to be very official and accurate because marijuana gained it legal status through being recognized as a medicine. In my state, they even put label stickers on everything which tells you each ingredient uses, down to the soil and fertilizer. I guess its like how the pharmacy always gives you a magazine-sized info pamphlet when you get your prescription most likely to prevent any sort of lawsuit.

But to answer TCs question about it being legally sourced, my guess is that its probably legit. They source the product so strictly that there isnt much room for error. My parents neighbor owns a dispensary and he got fined like $200k for cutting corners (I dont remember what he did).
