MGS and FF9 were tough opponents but it's not like some random-ass game that we never realized was that popular beat them. (I'd say if Tekken 3 had beaten FF9 then THAT would have been more of a Cinderella run after also taking down RE2) FFIX has looked like shit in all of its matches.
