Alcohol attacks your brain almost the exact same way the immune system does when an MS patient is having a relapse.

Multiple sclerosis is an immune system condition where the white blood cells target your brain cells in your central nervous system, instead of dangerous germs.

The damage to the brain can manifest itself as slurred speech, double vision/blindness, motor control issues and a host of cognitive issues.

Which is why it is often misdiagnosed as drunkenness. Particularly in men.

I've been a hard drinker for 4 years, so that's worrisome.
