So yeah, saying that the dislikes aren't only from racists is the sort of "I smell my own farts" truth where you aren't exactly wrong but everyone knows the crap that is going on.

Most people doing the whole "just because people don't like this doesn't mean they're racist" schtick are being so disingenuous. Like, yeah, obviously it's okay to dislike what you've seen from the trailer (or just not like these Disney remakes in general) and genuinely not be interested. No shit. I don't wanna go see it. The bitch could be White/red head and I still wouldn't care for it.

But to act like there isn't a loud sub-set of people who aren't hiding the fact at all that the character's race is a large reason for their vitriol is some goofy-goober shit.
