He almost blew Earth up twice at Bulma's party; first time Vegeta had to calm him down by dancing and the second Goku had to fight him Beerus lets Earth stay because he wants to see how strong Goku and Vegeta get, Bulma isn't shit Beerus casually destroys planets all the freaking time for little reason, so it speaks a lot about the atmosphere at Bulma's place that he decided to hold himself back twice. They call up Bulma because she's incredibly useful. I guess more so than the dragon balls since they don't use them and just call her instead.
