I guess I see what you're saying, and respect the prior warning to not compare to other groups, but I still don't see how demeaning, slurring, and stereotyping a group of people for the actions of the worst members is not hypocritical with preaching tolerance empathy etc. We're all people. If you strongly believe against stereotypes and of judging groups as a whole, it seems like that should extend to everybody, not just societally persecuted groups. It's those types of attitudes that leads to persecution in the first place, so how is it not hypocritical to aim it at others even if those groups are not persecuted ones? Cops are pigs.
